Rahmenhandlung literary festival, 2021

It’s been such a brilliant experience to read at this years’ ‘Rahmenhandlung’ literary festival in Zurich, which was being hosted by Alon Renner, and I’m so grateful that I was able to perform alongside so many wonderful writers again! Also, isn’t this ‘sleeping room’ the most amazing setting for reading fantasy tales?

‘Lagoona – a journey through the reef’, a short story that I wrote to raise awareness about how important it is to protect our reefs, and our oceans, is available now. If you liked the story at the festival, you can find out more about it or order it here.

As a coincidence, the story comes only a few days after ‘Worry and Party‘ was released, a song about ocean pollution. The drawing of Lagoona and her coral-made dwelling that I made was actually just something that emerged from one of many Insomnia-driven nights, and I’m glad it actually made it on the cover.
